The Himatnagar Kelavani Mandal is a premier organization established in 1952 in Himatnagar. It is a benefactor educational excelling in academics in Primary, Secondary higher education started with the aim to serve the society by providing value base education through their education institutions.

Presently it encompasses variety of educational institutions with Primary, Secondary, Higher secondary, Graduate and Post graduate programme in different disciplines of Arts, Commerce, Science, Law and Pharmaceutical science.

Today the trust runs six college and four schools.

The HNSB Science College, Himatnagar was established in june 1993. Initially, for the first five years, Himatnagar Kelvani Mandal bore all expenses as Gujarat Gov. gave per permission on a condition that no grant will be given permission on a condition that no grant will be given by the Gov. for five year. Due to determined efforts of Kelavni Mandal, We have today a special building with a spacious and fully equipped laboratory for each subject. The college, also has specious and well ventilated rooms, large playground and good library. It provides under-graduate and post-graduate courses and research activity also. We cater to the needs of higher education for more than 1000 students. We always keep in mind the most important stake holder of the institutor i.e., most of our activities are based on students and the community. We resolve problems in a democratic manner. The college is committed to excel in teaching training, entrepreneurship development, scholarship and public service. apart from classroom teaching we have facilities for seminars, workshop, career counseling and guidance extra curricular activities and NSS for your all round development.
